The Boston Celtics escaped with a 133-128 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, but it was Jaylen Brown who erupted for 40 points to lead the Celtics to a 126-110 victory in Game 2.

Brown hit 15-of-24 shots from the field, including 6-of-11 from three-point range, while also grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. Jayson Tatum added 26 points for the Celtics, who improved to 9-2 in the playoffs.

The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton, who finished with 23 points and 10 assists. Myles Turner added 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Buddy Hield chipped in 21 points.

The Pacers, who are now facing elimination in Game 3, will host the Celtics on Friday night.
