In a groundbreaking deal on the German business reality show "Die Höhle der Löwen," Carsten Maschmeyer has invested half a million euros in Casablanca AI, a start-up specializing in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered software that enhances natural eye contact during online conferences.
The agreed-upon investment includes a 75% stake in the company for 500,000 euros, with an additional 25% stake contingent upon the achievement of specific milestones.
Casablanca AI, led by KI expert Carsten Kraus, aims to revolutionize video conferencing by making them more authentic and engaging. Their innovative software leverages AI to create the illusion of natural gaze, reducing the discomfort and unnaturalness associated with traditional video calls.
The deal marks a significant milestone for Casablanca AI, providing the resources and support needed to further develop and market their technology. The company will make its television debut on "Die Höhle der Löwen" on Monday, April 24, 2024, at 8:15 PM.
