Pastor Robert Morris, senior pastor of the 39,000-member Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, recently underwent emergency surgery for a herniated disc. The family requested prayers as Morris faced complications from the surgery.
According to the church, Morris is now in stable condition and recently returned to the pulpit. The pastor had initially experienced discomfort and attempted to take a bath, but needed assistance from his wife, Debbie, to enter the tub. While getting in, Morris lost consciousness and required medical attention.
